BISHOP J ALAN NEAL
Bishop J. Alan Neal is the Visionary Leader and Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Faith Center located in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany. He is also the Chairman & CEO of Elijah's Bread Ministries, Inc. (EBM) founded primarily to evangelize and provide support to the many unreached people groups within the 10/40 Window and to provide spiritual leadership and covering to churches throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Through his local church and EBM, Bishop has planted and oversees over 265 churches in four continents and eight countries (Germany, England, The Netherlands, France, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, India, and the United States). A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he received his early Christian education and training in the Baptist Church. His secular education began in the Lexington Public School System; he later attended Western Kentucky University at Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration in 1977. Immediately upon graduation, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He also earned his Masters of Public Administration-Comptroller degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri in 1989. In 2005, The Saint Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville, Florida, awarded him an Honorary Doctorate Degree in recognition of his remarkable apostolic achievements in the areas of church planting, missions, and leadership development.
He answered God's call concerning his life in ministry while serving in the US Military. In April 1995, he founded the Agape Christian Faith Center. The phenomenal physical and spiritual growth of the ministry in Europe and Asia mandated his full attention; therefore, he retired from a distinguished twenty-year military career as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army to completely focus on the ministry. He is a highly decorated combat veteran who fully understands the Art of War, Discipline, and Leadership. Bishop Neal has refocused this unique talent and experience toward spreading the gospel throughout Europe and Asia. His passion to evangelize and plant churches in these areas, coupled with his increasing influence throughout Europe and Asia made his decision to live overseas permanently much easier. Impregnated with vision for ministry and equipping church leadership, Bishop Neal continues to avail himself to the move of the Holy Spirit, while God continues to literally open doors around the world for him to share vision, challenge men to raise the standard, and inspire churches to prepare for the end-time harvest. AGAPE Christian Faith Center became the first church in Europe to partner with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in July 1995. From July 1997 – November 2010, he faithfully served Bishop Paul S. Morton on his Executive Bishop's Council and led the Full Gospel Baptist Churches throughout Europe and Asia. After transitioning from this assignment, he now serves under the apostolic authority of Bishop Harry R. Jackson Jr. and the International Communion of Evangelical Churches.
Bishop Neal is married to the former Wanda Jacqueline Harris of Kansas City, Missouri.
